First repentance and correction of the Heretics and then Union.

These (Latins) holy Despot, they have left none of the main elements of Faith unwounded and unshredded. For this, they are not only cut off from the omnipresent, good and sweet Body of Christ but they are also delivered to the devil. The Apostle sealing the whole evangelical and apostolic teaching, says, not only to the Galatians who brought in a different teaching on a topic, but a lot more towards the Italians who recently introduced a multitude of different teachings and overturned almost the complete evangelical, apostolic canonical and patristic tradition, "if anyone preaches to you different of what you received, even if he is an angel from heaven let it be anathema" (Gal 1:8)
How could it be permissible and God pleasing to unite ourselves with them from whom rightly and canonically we cut off ourselves from them, while they remain unchanging in their heresies? If we accept such, we shall overturn at once everything and we would then abolish Orthodoxy and especially at the junctures where we now unworthily receive them. Because the holy canons say, "whoever prays with non-believers even inside a house he should be excommunicated (Apostolic canon10). Also, whoever has communion with a non-believer he shall be uncommuned because he disturbs the proper order of the Church". Also, "whoever receives a heretic he will be subjected to the same punishments as him (Apostolic canon 45). For all these therefore they are guilty and for all these we too shall become guilty according to the holy canons which are revealed by the Holy Spirit. However something like that is completely ruled out.
But not even where we shall commemorate them. For this is also a scheme of the cunning one who while it is dark he calls it light. So that projecting for the present (on level field) the union with them, he would bring about deceitfully the loss of the whole Body of the Church. And because he cannot convince with clear arguments towards such direction, he tries with obscure ones to find a window to secretly pass on the evil.
If therefore they want to unite with us, they must first change and then unite. But if they want to retain at the same time their errors, they will not succeed. Is there no relationship between sacramental communion and name commemoration? Most certainly there is as we shall prove below.
Oh, how sad is the benefit that they will have now! Because now their correction will be impossible since they would have taken what they are after. Since for them the juxtaposition and dialogues do not seem to have piety as their goal. For if they wished piety, where is the obstacle, since at present she is common for all and free and is equally honouring for the slaves and archpriests, poor ones and rich ones, famous ones and obscure ones, debtors and non-debtors? As is blowing of the wind, the pouring of light, the change of seasons and the sight of creation, of this great and common for all indulgence, likewise is the equal responsibility towards faith according to the Great Gregory. `And they ignore even him, together with our other great fathers, Basil and John Chrysostom, whose fame of preaching and the power of the spirit poured over all the earth, so listen, holy Despot   (Archpriest), the following promise from the words of the All Holy Spirit, from whom not one strand can fall outside, the great Apostle of the Lord, the evangelist John says: "whoever comes to you and does not bring this teaching with him, do not greet him nor receive him into your house (2John 10-11).
So, if the above sayings impede us to simply greet him on the street and does not permit us to receive him in a plain home, how can we bring him in not a house but the temple of God, in this His sanctuary, where on the horrible altar the Son of God is mystically and bloodlessly slaughtered?
And if the simple one makes us communicants in his evil works of the one greeting us, how much more the oral commemoration and especially the moment we witness with horror the divine mysteries? If therefore He, Himself who lies in front of us is the Self -Truth, how is it possible for Him to tolerate this great lie, in that he (the Pope), mingles between the rest of the Orthodox Patriarchs? Should we play theater during the horrific mysteries? And how could the soul of the Orthodox tolerate these things and not remove itself from those who commemorate them and not regard them as hieroexploiters?   Because as always in the Orthodox Church of God the mention of the name of the Archpriest in front of the holy mysteries she received it as perfect communication. In the explanation of the sacred liturgy it is written that the liturgist mentions the name of the archpriest to show that he submits to his superior and that he is a communicant of his faith and that through him, he has received the grace of hierurgy of the sacred mysteries. And God in the past had stipulated something corresponding by these words: "... priests have done violence to my law and have profaned my holy things" (Ezek 22:26). How did they do that? By not differentiating between desecrating people and holy people, but instead have everything common with everybody.  And what more evident and more real example than this do we need?
Or perhaps make this (the pseudo-union) like some sort of economy? And how could it be acceptable as an economy that desecrates the holy mysteries and the above mentioned word of God that repulses from them the Spirit of God, and deprive from the faithful the deliverance from sins and the grace of adoption that springs from these mysteries? And what is more destructive than such an economy?
But even giving to the heretic the supremacy over the whole Orthodox Church of Christ, is it correct? This is total surrender not economy. That one (the Pope) now he is not worthy even for the last place. Our great father Gregory the theologian, says in particular, stirred by the word of God for the repenters, "if of course they did not repent, not even I would accept them, but only if they stoop, if they come worthily, if they correct the damage they have inflicted. And when I receive them, then I. assign them the place they deserve".   Where is the correction of the damage? So then, not even for the last place they are worthy, not to mention the first!
But also the great Paul, moved by the Lord Himself, who speaks within him, he confirms the same:  ".....a man that is heretic after the first and second admonition, reject him. Knowing that such a one is perverted and sins being self condemned" (Tit 3:10-11). And again "......withdraw yourselves from every brother that walks disorderly and not after the tradition which he received from us" (2Thess 3:6). And in other places he orders that with such people we should not even eat together (1Cor 5:11).
The same command the God bearing and great father Ignatius, to protect us from human looking beasts, the heretics, whom we not only should not admit but if possible should not even meet with them.
So then, those whom we are told not to eat together, not even greet them, so that there may not be any social interaction with them, and with whom a chance encounter with them if possible to be avoided, how is it possible to give them the right to be first and judges of the Orthodox Churches and to broadcast their remembrance as Orthodox during common worship within the Church and in front   of the same mystical and holy altar, so that we won't leave even the holy altar un-desecrated, to continue blessing us.
